A reader of Alice's blog posted the simple question regarding Berkshire's offer to buy
Transatlantic Holdings. In her response, Alice threw out some comments that suggest that sometime down the line, she may be planning to publish the counterpoint book to her epic authorized biography.
In her reply to the Buffett's only authorized biographer then continued: "If it is really important to you to feel that everything Buffett does is perfect, though, I won't quibble if you want to go ahead and ignore these facts."
She continues: "The sad truth is is that a lot of the core beliefs of the cult will be overturned in the next few years. Some of you think I take joy is being the one who, on occasion, bears the message. I don't enjoy it, but it's like a vaccination for you folks. A little pain now might save you a great deal of pain later."
You folks? Do we sense a dark-side sequel to The Snowball? Perhaps when Buffett is safely out of the picture? If she does have something to say, we might hope that should would just come out and say it. Ideally, while Buffett is still around to defend himself.
